11 Oct Get Efficient with My Favorite Subscription Services
Here we are with another Practical Proverbs! We’re using the power of Proverbs to help us live our lives with wisdom and grace. Today, we’re talking about being efficient.
Did you know you can listen to this blog post instead of reading it? It’s true! Just click below!
Proverbs 21:5 “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.”
Ephesians 5:15-16 “Be very careful then how you live, not as unwise but as wise – making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
Prob 12:27 “The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.”
These verses are telling us that when we are efficient, we will reap the benefits in our lives.
God wants us to be diligent with the time He gives us. We need to make the most of every opportunity, and we can’t do that if we aren’t being efficient. Here are the subscription services I use to be efficient.
Grove Collaborative provides detergents, household cleaning supplies, ect., that are natural and non-toxic. They are often hypoallergenic.
I set up my subscription to automatically send me the cleaning products I know I’ll need. You don’t have to get it every month, and it makes keeping your cleaning supplies stocked super easy.
They offer many items, and my experience is that they work very well.
I like to wear clothes that I know not everyone has. I value uniqueness.
Stitch Fix is perfect for this. You can get a box every month, every few months, or just whenever you want to.
You can take a quiz to pick your favorite style, and if you put in your measurements, you’ll get clothes that actually fit you well! Make sure to tell your stylist what you do and don’t like.
You can return anything you don’t want for free, and it makes shopping for clothes easy and simple.
Bonus: If you use this link, you’ll get $25 off your first order!
Recurring Amazon Deliveries
If you have Amazon Prime, you probably already know that you can get free delivery. But did you know you can get recurring deliveries?
I use this a lot for our business. If it takes us three months to go through a big box of paper towels, I’ll set my account to have a box shipped to us every four months.
Go through your Amazon history and see if you have orders you buy regularly. If so, just set it up as a recurring delivery so you don’t have to worry about reordering.
I just started using Walmart Pickup, and I haven’t been inside a grocery store since.
You download the app, make your shopping list (you have to have a $30 minimum), and then set your pick up time. I schedule mine for when I’m already going to be in town.
Try starting a cart ahead of time. Throughout the week, add items to the list.
TIP: Reserve a slot several days ahead. You can always add items you’re missing up to a couple hours before pickup.
This has saved me money. Instead of picking up a bunch of items I don’t need, I only end up with the stuff on my list.
If you select something that is out of stock, they will upgrade you to another brand and compensate the difference in price!
Use these subscriptions whatever you can to make your life easier! Take advantage of efficient options so you can be diligent with the time God has given you.
