A Lesson From Joshua
Wishful thinking isn’t enough when you want to work towards God’s best! Recently, I was thinking about the story of Joshua and the city of Jericho. God told the Israelites that He would hand Jericho over to them. BUT…He wanted them to take action. He had them walk around that city multiple times and in the end, the walls fell and they conquered the city.
Who made the walls fall? God. Would God have knocked the walls down if Joshua and the people didn’t walk around the city? Hmm…I don’t think so. God gives us the power and strength to meet the goals that we have, BUT we still have a responsibility to take action.
After several years of trial and error, I have set and made several goals! Things like:
- Giving up soda and coffee for an entire year
- Completing a marathon (26.2 miles!)
- Finishing a 30 day fast for spiritual reasons
I’ve fine-tuned the way to set goals and (most importantly) MEET THEM! And now, I want you to have them! Download my 5 tips to reaching your goals now in my online library! It is a guide and worksheet in one with room for you to make your own goals and take the steps needed to meet them! Log in or create a free account HERE.
